Snow Load

Anyone know if these homes are appropriate for places where snow falls.  At most, 4 feet sticking for several months.

Thanks for your time.

what does 45 lbs of snow load equate to? In other words, would this home be appropriate for the Colorado mountains?

Off the top of my head, 45 pounds doesn't sound like a whole lot of snow, especially over a long-ish period of time. Still, what would 45 pounds translate into with snow? A couple of inches? A couple of feet? And, for how long?

Snow loads can vary greatly across high elevation areas in the mountain states. The best way to determine if an i-house can be sited on your property is to contact the local building officials and determine what the codes mandate on your property. Give us a call and we would be glad to help you.
