Handicapped acessability

Hi, This is just what my husband and I are looking to do,now that we are going to be empty nesters. My main concern is that I am handicapped and was interested in knowing if the openings to rooms and hallways will be wide enough for my power chair  and if atleast one of the bathrooms can have a walkin shower? This is going to be our last home and it would be great if I can be comfortable and have everything accessable because its not just helping me its helping my husband so that I can do as much as possible on my own. I like being independent and having things reachable, it gives me freedom to have a little bit of life on my own.   Thank you for your time.   Joan Johnson  St. Helena Island, SC      July 16

Joan,

Thank you for your interest in our new i-house! We have designed the i-house to have 30" interior door openings throughout. You can also opt for a walk in shower. Should you and your husband desire specific modifications please let us know. We would love the opportunity to custom build you an i-house that is both comfortable and efficient to live in! We look forward to hearing form you.
