Stairs to basement
Hi Guys:
I am considering the i-house II with a basement under it. Local building codes will not allow a staircase to be extended outside the dimensions of the house. So my question is . . . where inside the i-house would be the best place for a staircase to the basement? Thanks in advance. I love the house.

This is a great questions, one that doesn't have one specific answer. The footprint of the ihouse lends itself to an interior basement entry located in open living space of the kitchen and living room.
